NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR NEW EDUCATION!

In July of 2009, Solutions for Salons presented a live streaming event of "Over the Top" with Michael Cole. Live streaming is a dynamic new resource that is a cost-cutting, exciting way to get education and the message OUT THERE.

Solutions for Salons hosted Michael Cole, the superlative motivational speaker, who shared the latest business information, via the best new technology. Stylists, owners, spas and salons were all given the opportunity to digest the message.

While it is no substitute for attending the program in person, live streaming is a refreshing way for salon owners to get the staff together. This cutting-edge technology in the beauty industry offers the excitement of a one-time, live event with the option to replay it for up to 7 days afterward. Forty people from all over the country attended the "Over the Top" program online and were able to experience it from the living room, the salon, the school, the coffee shop . . . you name it!

Michael Cole believes that the live streaming technology will "open up a whole new dimension in the beauty industry, and in particular will make Step Up into a movement rather than just a program." Cole plans to expand his online learning offerings with a series of streaming videos for Step Up graduates. The 90-minute follow-up courses will be released over the next twelve months in six installments. Each session will be tied to the last one and designed to keep Step Up graduates "on the fast track to wealth." The streams will be recorded so that people have the option to watch it after the fact if necessary.

Cole has titled these online learning sessions the "Sales Training Online Learning Program." There will be separate sessions for Summit Salons that cater to the various stylist's levels, including one for those with associates. The 90-minute meeting can easily be fit into a regular workday, and promises to keep the Step Up movement alive!
